EA FC 25: Live Tuning 1 Update Brings Exciting Changes
Patching Up the Gameplay
In a surprising move, EA FC 25 has received the Live Tuning 1 update, bringing significant gameplay changes to the table. Unlike the Title Update 1, which required players to download large patches, the Live Tuning 1 update applies changes in real-time. EA Sports has already published the patch notes, which can be viewed on their official Trello page.
The Big Three: Key Changes
Although there are only three changes in this patch, they will undoubtedly have a significant impact on gameplay. The first change reduces the flight height of the ball for passed and flanked passes in Rush games, making it more realistic. The second change reduces the accuracy of initial lobbed passes and lobbed passes from a strong angle, making it more challenging to score goals.
A Bug Fixed
The third change addresses a bug that caused players to unintentionally accelerate when requesting a sprint on PS5, PC, and XBSX|S platforms. This issue should be resolved after the first Live Update.
Lobbed Passes and More
Lobbed passes and lobbed through passes were previously too accurate, making them unrealistic. The Live Tuning 1 update should put an end to this issue. More importantly, the update significantly reduces the speed boost triggered by the R2 button, making gameplay more realistic.
Twitter Reacts
EA SPORTS FC (@EASFCDirect) tweeted: "The first Live Tuning Update for EA SPORTS FC 25 is now available and reduces the cases of unintentional speed boosts when sprinting on PS5/XBSX|S/PC. Full LTU notes can be found in our EASF Tracker. #EASportsFC25"
The Market Impact
The impact of this update on the market is yet to be seen, but it’s clear that the changes will have a significant effect on gameplay. Certain cards have already been sold by anxious players, and the Champions Finals could bring even greater changes.
